For full disclosure purposes, I received 3 packets of Nothing But. Snacks for free in return for an honest review. I am not being paid to talk about or advertise their products. All opinions of the product are my own. Any links marked with a * are affiliate links.
Snacking has always been a major downfall of mine, I usually have about 3 a day, 1 in between each meal. As part of living a healthier lifestyle, it's important to try and make sure that I'm making healthy choices with food.
Snacking has always been a major downfall of mine, I usually have about 3 a day, 1 in between each meal. As part of living a healthier lifestyle, it's important to try and make sure that I'm making healthy choices with food.
Our workplace orders in snacks for the employees, however, these are not always healthy options, most of the time it consists of crisps and biscuits, there are occasionally fruits available too but there aren't many options for those interested in healthy living and being conscious of what they're eating.
So, I have a snack drawer/box at work that I keep a good supply of, which is full of healthier snacks so I don't stray to eating ALL the biscuits. Nakd Bars and 9 Bars being a regular occurrence! However, I'm always on the look out for new healthier snacks to try out so I don't get bored of the same thing day in day out!
I had the opportunity to try out Nothing But. Snacks. Nothing But is a brand new snack and is a delicious alternative to the traditional packet of crisps of biscuits! They are Freeze Dried fruits and vegetables!
They're available in 3 fruit and 3 vegetable varieties including: Apple & Fig, Pineapple & Grape, Strawberry & Banana, Pea & Sweetcorn, Sliced Beetroot & Parsnip and Mange Trout & Red Pepper. I tried out 3 of their flavours.
Nothing But has; No Added Fat, Salt, Sugar, Colour or Preservatives. They're literally just freeze dried! This means they're also suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans and are Gluten Free!
Each of the packets counts towards 1 of your 5 a day and they're all under 80 calories per pack, some being as low as 26 cals!
I tried the Apple & Fig, Pineapple & Grape and Pea & Sweetcorn. The fruit combos are by far my favorite. I had half a packet of the Apple & Fig with my breakfast one morning and it was a delicious added extra and still had all of their flavour! The Pineapple & Grape was delicious too!
I was apprehensive about the Pea & Sweetcorn and it wasn't my favorite, but it was still good. I did find the Pea & Sweetcorn to be a little too dry for my liking but I enjoyed them all the same.
I'm definitely going to be getting some more to add to my snacking collection at work, I REALLY want to get my hands on the Strawberry & Banana!
You can buy Nothing But online from Amazon* or there are lots of retailers available that now stock them, you can find your nearest retailer HERE.
