Summary Sunday

9/29/2013

Workouts this week:
Wednesday - 6.64 miles running
Saturday - 6 miles running
Sunday - 6.14 miles running

Not bad, but could have definitely done with adding more exercise in but I haven't made a decision on what I'm going to do yet.

Food this week:
Food has been much better this week compared to when I was on holiday and its been cut down, but it can definitely be better than it is. From the start of October, I wont be eating any chocolate or sweets and I'm going to try and severely try to cut down my sugar.

Goals last week:
1st - Get back into an exercise routine.
Wouldn't say I got into a 'routine'. I just exercised when I felt like it. I haven't got my exercise drive back fully. I don't know if I'm going to continue with T25. I hardly saw results, but I obviously think that it was due due to the way I was eating. I'm not sure what I am going to do for other exercise at the moment so I'm going to continue with my running and hopefully make a decision before the end of the week.

2nd - Reduce sugar intake
I did start this, but it didn't reduce it enough.. Its proving to be difficult when other people in the house do not eat the same things that I do and there is temptation at every corner.

Goals this week:
1st - Make a decision on what exercise routine/schedule I am going to be following before next week.
Running on its own probably isn't the best form of exercise for me. When I incorporate some other type of exercise, I seem to do better, I'm just torn between what to do. I'm definitely going to start Yoga and that can be done during my rest days and then I want to do something to help me gain a little muscle and that will either be restarting T25 or I am considering getting a Kettlebell as I've heard they are good too.

2nd - Start Choctober from the beginning of the month.
Choctober is something that I've seen around Instagram a bit lately, where you don't eat chocolate for the whole of the month of October. I was just going to do this on its own, but I don't eat chocolate that much and therefore I'm editing it slightly and I won't be eating any chocolate, sweets, biscuits and trying to reduce my sugar intake for the month of October. If I stick to this properly, I want to see what benefits I have by the end of the month.

Well, that's it for my summary this week. I don't think I have anything more that I need to add.

What have you been up to this weekend?

Has anyone used kettlebells before, did you see/have much benefit from using them?
